Our detached family villa is located in Portocolom on Mallorca's east coast, in the municipality of Felanitx, just 200 metres from the sea. The sparkling water is only a short walk from the front door. Just a few minutes away lies one of the island's largest natural harbours, where a genuine fishing village has retained its original character rather than becoming purely a tourist resort. Boats lie at anchor in the bay, the 1863 lighthouse guards the entrance, and locals and visitors mingle along the waterfront.
Inside the villa, relaxation takes centre stage. A private pool (approx. 17 m²), covered terraces and a garden provide plenty of space for everyone. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and an office, accommodating up to eight guests, while the ground floor offers a garage with space for two to three cars.

Getting Here & Getting Around
Portocolom is located on the east coast, around a 45-minute drive from Palma Airport via the Ma-15. Most of our guests find that having a car makes a significant difference — allowing them to go beyond simply relaxing and truly explore the area — as the most beautiful coves, the nature reserve and the caves are easiest to reach by car.
- By car: From Palma, take the Ma-19 or Ma-15 eastwards, then follow the local roads to Portocolom.
- By train and bus: There is no direct train connection to Portocolom. Trains from Palma to Manacor connect with buses to the village. This is a viable option for getting there, but it significantly limits your mobility once you arrive.
- By air: Palma Airport (PMI) is approximately 45 minutes away by car and is the island's only airport.

The entire house and garden are exclusively yours, making it ideal for one or two families to spread out and relax while the adults can keep an eye on the pool. Up to eight guests can stay across four bedrooms. A private pool (approx. 17 m²) and shaded terraces are perfect for long, leisurely afternoons. Cala Marçal, with its shallow waters and lifeguard service in summer, is an ideal first beach for young children. The calm harbour is also perfect for trying out kayaking or paddleboarding for the first time. For everyday essentials, there is a Sunday market in Felanitx and a Tuesday market in the village.

The villa sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms and comes with a private pool, terraces and a garage for two to three cars, giving the whole group plenty of flexibility. Cook together on the terrace in the evening, explore the coast by boat during the day or book a private sailing charter for the group. A visit to the Caves of Drach or a morning at the market in Felanitx rounds off the stay, without the need for long drives.

What is Portocolom like?
A charming fishing village that grew around a large natural harbour. With local shops and restaurants right along the waterfront, it retains a quieter, more authentic character than the island's larger tourist resorts. The harbour, lighthouse and sandy Cala Marçal beach are all close to the villa.
How far is the sea from the villa?
The villa is just around 200 metres from the sea, with the harbour and waterfront promenade only a few minutes' walk away. Cala Marçal beach is approximately one kilometre from the town centre.
Do I need a car?
We strongly recommend having one. Most of the area's most attractive coves, Mondragó Natural Park and sights such as the Caves of Drach are best reached by car. It is possible to travel by train to Manacor and continue by bus, but exploring the region without your own car is considerably more limited.
Which day trips are particularly worthwhile?
The Caves of Drach and the Coves dels Hams in Porto Cristo are around a 30-minute drive away. Felanitx, with its Sunday market and historic centre, is very close by, while Mondragó Natural Park lies to the south. For the best panoramic views of the surrounding area, head to Sant Salvador.
